ABOUT Alt Raq apparel

Alt Raq Apparel is a one-woman operation built on intention, individuality, and zero waste practices. Every piece is handmade by me, Raquel Coren, using reclaimed materials and a lot of love.

I started Alt Raq because I believe clothing should tell a story—not just about style, but about process, purpose, and the person behind it. That’s why I keep things transparent, personal, and low-impact. No scraps in the trash. No mass production. Just thoughtful, one-of-a-kind pieces made from rescued materials and stitched with care.

All materials used at Alt Raq Apparel are sourced second-hand from companies that collect leftover yardage from factories and brands. Here, nothing goes to waste. Every little scrap and thread is transformed into functional, beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces, like quilted bags and arm warmers.
